The 2013 Lancet nutrition series reported that rigorous evaluations on the effects of nutrition programmes are scarce or non-existent. This absence of adequate monitoring, evaluation and impact assessments represents a major constraint in food and nutrition insecurity programmes.

8th Annual ‘M&E on the Cutting Edge’ Conference; Wageningen, the Netherlands
This conference acts as the foundation for promoting and advocating AfrEA’s “Made in Africa” approach, and allows, knowledge sharing, collaboration and networking with a wide range of international organisation and individuals. The conference is organised by The Board of the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) in partnership with The Uganda Evaluation Association (UEA). Deadline to submit abstracts for papers/workshops: 14 December 2016.
